How do I register for dance classes at Shoonya?
Shoonya Dance Centre uses three separate registration forms depending on what you're joining. For a weekly semester course (16 sessions, Sep 2026 – Jan 2027), use Form 1. For standalone workshops, miniseries, or intensives, use Form 2. For performance tickets and social events, use Form 3. All three require a free Shoonya ID.

A Shoonya member is anyone currently registered in one or more regular weekly dance classes during a semester at Shoonya Dance Centre in Ghent.
Membership is valid for the duration of the semester: September–January or February–June.
Exclusive perks
Being a Shoonya member comes with advantages: enjoy special discounts on festivals, workshops, and other events organised at Shoonya Dance Centre.
Having a Shoonya ID (a 4-digit number) doesn't automatically grant membership. Membership is tied to active enrollment in regular weekly dance classes within a semester.

Yes. Your Shoonya ID links every booking to one profile — so your classes, workshops, and tickets all live in one place. It takes a minute to create and you'll only ever need one. Couples cannot share an ID; each partner registers separately.
Prices cover the full semester of 16 sessions (14 Sep 2026 – 30 Jan 2027).
60-min class: €198 full / €175 student ·
70-min class: €223 / €197 ·
75-min class: €231 / €204 ·
90-min class: €248 / €219.
Uitpas holders receive up to 80% discount. Student discount is 12%.
Semester 1 of school year 2026–2027 runs from 14 September 2026 to 30 January 2027 — 16 sessions. The first week (14–19 Sep) is a free trial week: drop in to any class for free, no registration needed.

Yes — two ways. The Open Door Day on 13 Sep 2026: drop in to any class for free, no booking needed. The trial week at the start of each semester (14–19 Sep 2026) is also completely free.
