Most require a partner7 styles — Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Bachata Solo Style, Argentine Tango, Kizomba, Lindy Hop, Rueda. Dance with someone else.
Most require a partner to register — Lindy Hop is the exception.

Create a Shoonya ID once — you'll receive it by email. Then log in, choose your class, and complete your registration online. Registration stays open for the first three weeks of the semester.
Partner dances: your dance partner also needs a Shoonya ID — have it ready when you register.

A few things that will make your first visit easier.
Level 1 = absolute zero. No prior dance, no fitness requirement, no rhythm test. If you can walk, you can start. Open Level classes welcome everyone.
Comfortable clothing you can move in. Bring proper dance shoes — street shoes are not allowed on the dance floor. Socks or bare feet are fine for a first visit.
Adults and motivated teens — most classes from age 12 upwards. Not sure about a specific class? Just ask us.
Shoonya is a UiTPAS partner. With a UiTPAS kansentarief card you get an 80% discount on all classes. Mention it when registering.
Classes run in Dutch and English depending on the teacher. A mix is completely normal. You'll always be understood.
Online only — Bancontact or Visa. Student discount (under 25 or 2+ classes) and UiTPAS rates are applied at registration.
